Join Hannover Re Bahrain’s dynamic Property & Casualty Treaty team as an Assistant Treaty Underwriter. 

You can look forward to

  • Assist in analyzing treaty submissions using quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Review, monitor, and manage the assigned portfolio with a focus on technical profitability.
  • Maintain accurate procedures, records, and administration in line with guidelines and SOPs.
  • Establish strong relationships with cedants and brokers in your markets.
  • Assist in departmental and cross-departmental projects/tasks as assigned.

You come equipped with

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s is an advantage).
  • Professional Qualifications like ACII, FCII, CPCU or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in treaty underwriting with a reputable insurer or reinsurer.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with data-driven decision-making.
  • Languages: English and Arabic (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Pay attention to detail and accuracy in all underwriting activities.
  • Ability to leverage AI-driven tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) for efficiency and productivity.
