For our department Financial Accounting & Reporting we are seeking to appoint a Associate Financial Accountant commencing immediately on a permanent, full-time basis.

 

You can look forward to the following main tasks

Financial transactions & reconciliation

 

  • Prepare and post manual journal entries in the General Ledger.
  • Prepare and circulate daily payment transactions promptly.
  • Review bank accounts daily, reporting unusual transactions to the Finance Team.
  • Monitor cash collections and technical payments, updating relevant files.

 

Reporting and data management

 

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial and regulatory reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting system reports.
  • Prepare and review budgets, revenues, expenses, payroll entries, invoices, and other financial documents.

 

Communication & Support

 

  • Communicate billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions and internal and external auditors
  • Lead or participate in related projects to support business objectives

You come equipped with

  • A Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience,
  • Suitable knowledge of accounting principles and financial and tax regulations.
  • Excellent computer skills; proficiency in Excel and other relevant applications
  • Self-starter willing to work effectively within a team
  • Inquisitive and analytical mind
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
