Accountant Reinsurance Accounting and Payment Transactions
Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance & Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as an Accountant Reinsurance Accounting and Payment Transactions. The position can be filled on a part-time basis (at least 30 hours / week).
You can look forward to
- Processing and checking incoming reinsurance settlements
- Preparing outgoing reinsurance settlements, including determining the figures to be settled
- Current account processing of incoming and outgoing payments
- Processing and preparation of claims notifications including technical sanction checks
- Correspondence and coordination with internal and external customers worldwide
- Collaboration in working groups and projects for the digitalisation and further development of processes
You come equipped with
- Completed commercial training in insurance, banking, accounting or tax - alternatively, you have further training as a business administrator with a corresponding specialisation or a business degree
- Experience in billing and current account processing, ideally of (re)insurance contracts
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office, in particular very good knowledge of Excel
- Strong understanding of numbers as well as the willingness and curiosity to familiarise yourself with new IT technologies and tools
- Very good knowledge of German at a business fluent level
- Good knowledge of English, which you can use confidently, especially in writing
- Structured way of working with a strong sense of organisation and planning as well as analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams
