You can look forward to
- Further development of the actuarial modelling and database applications used within the Hannover Re Group worldwide with the aim of automating our reporting and risk capital calculations in the Life & Health reinsurance business group to the greatest possible extent
- Automation of treaty modelling for our international locations, taking into account reporting requirements from internal actuarial processes and (inter)national accounting standards for insurance contracts
- Connecting the international locations to the central actuarial system landscape of life and health reinsurance
- Further development and maintenance of the actuarial systems used
- Carrying out training courses on the use of the actuarial system landscape
You come equipped with
- Professional experience in the field of actuarial mathematics, software development or in life (re)insurance
- Master's degree in (technical or business) mathematics or computer science
- Very good knowledge of a higher programming language, ideally C++
- SQL knowledge and experience with common software design principles an advantage
- Willingness to undergo actuarial training (DAV) or already completed or at an advanced stage
- English at a business fluent level and German at a conversational level
- Conceptual skills and analytical thinking
- Confident demeanour towards internal and external customers
- Enjoy working in a team
