You can look forward to
- You will be responsible for actuarial tasks related to Solvency II - working with our international locations as well as with other departments of Hannover Re, such as the reserving team or the market departments
- You use the results of experience analyses to assess the appropriateness of assumptions for the valuation of our business
- You take care of the maintenance, updating, validation and further development of the internal risk model, which stochastically maps and measures our risks
- You prepare risk reports and stress tests and analyze the data we use
- You examine special reinsurance contracts or portfolios for life and health reinsurance
- You work on various projects (e.g. in the context of the Solvency II review)
You come equipped with
- Master's degree in (business) or (financial) mathematics, physics, statistics, or a comparable degree program
- Professional experience through initial internships is desirable
- Basic actuarial knowledge and a fundamental understanding of the application of Solvency II
- Strong understanding of figures and interest in training as an actuary
- German at a conversational level and English at a business fluent level
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation and willingness to occasionally travel worldwide
