Actuary / Mathematician Risk Management

You can look forward to
- Active participation in the operational core processes of the internal model, especially in the risk modelling area for property & casualty reinsurance
- Close interdisciplinary collaboration with various interfaces (e.g., with other departments or with BaFin)
- Execution of regular model runs and preparation of result reports for different Hannover Re units
- Calculation of key risk metrics, preparation of analyses, and support in diverse applications of the internal model
- Implementation of model changes, including change impact analyses and validation activities
You come equipped with
- Completed degree in (business) mathematics, physics, or another quantitatively oriented field
- Initial experience in the (re)insurance industry, ideally with a focus on property & casualty
- Programming skills in MATLAB are an advantage; strong proficiency in MS Office
- Proficient user skills in both English and German, combined with strong communication skills
- A creative and conceptual mindset, marked by curiosity, collegiality, reliability and strong problem-solving abilities
