You can look forward to
- Being part of a strategic team responsible for Hannover Re’s central Property & Casualty (P&C) underwriting platform jUWel, supporting our global P&C Treaty portfolio
- Analyzing and designing business processes and system solutions that enhance efficiency and innovation across our underwriting landscape
- Working closely with underwriting, pricing, and risk management teams to define and document business requirements
- Designing and delivering training and enablement activities for colleagues in Hannover and at our international locations
- Collaborating with IT and automation teams to implement future-oriented solutions
- Contributing to Hannover Re’s digital transformation through process optimization, automation, and the use of AI-driven technologies
You come equipped with
- Degree in computer science, (business) mathematics, or a comparable analytical field
- Proven experience in analyzing business processes and translating requirements into actionable IT specifications
- Strong interest in the business of an international reinsurer, ideally supported by relevant professional experience in (re)insurance
- Ability to understand technology beyond the user perspective, including systems, data flows, and databases
- Excellent communication skills, in combination with business fluent English and conversational German
- Curious and solution-oriented mindset with a drive to rethink processes and lead meaningful change within a global underwriting community
