Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the GFA-ACR General Ledger Cash Management team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent, part-time basis (roughly 19 HPW), commencing as soon as possible as a Cash Management Specialist Payment Operations and Bank Account Management. Our team is responsible for the operational management and continuous improvement of international payment operations for Hannover Re and E+S Rück. We work closely with banking partners and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable, efficient, and future-oriented treasury and payment processes.

You can look forward to

  • Coordinate bank accounts, powers of attorney, and international payment operations, ensuring smooth and reliable processing
  • Manage relationships with our payment banks and collaborate closely with Current Accounting, Asset Management, and Finance Global Services
  • Analyze bank master data, ensure data quality, and further develop the underlying processes
  • Investigate failed payments together with banks and internal stakeholders and implement measures to improve payment success rates
  • Support outgoing payment processes as well as business-related inquiries, reporting activities, and migrations of bank accounts, payment connections, and bank master data
  • Contribute to projects focused on the centralization, digitalization, and automation of international payment operations

You come equipped with

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics with a focus on Finance, or a comparable commercial qualification
  • Several years of experience in payment operations, cash management, treasury, accounting, or a comparable finance-related environment
  • Ideally, experience with SAP, Treasury Management Systems, or digital payment solutions, and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems
  • Fluent German and English skills for communication with international stakeholders
  • A structured and solution-oriented way of working, combined with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex relationships
  • Ownership mindset, a collaborative approach to working across functions, and a proactive attitude toward improving processes and driving change initiatives
