Claims Handler
Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Property & Casualty Global Services Claims team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Claims Handler. The position is suitable for part-time work as well (minimum 23 hours per week).
You can look forward to
- Supporting the Claims Department in day-to-day operational activities and contributing to internal strategic projects
- Assisting in the review, assessment, and processing of incoming claims notifications
- Preparing structured presentations, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders
- Contributing to process optimisation initiatives, including reporting, data analysis, and workflow improvements
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across various global offices and gaining exposure to international claims practices
You come equipped with
- A completed university degree in Law, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field
- Initial exposure to (re)insurance—ideally gained through an internship or working student position
- Ability to take ownership of tasks, as well as an independent way of working
- Solid analytical thinking skills
- Confident user of MS Office
- Business-fluent English and German
- Team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
