Our team is responsible for the architectural design, development and productive operation of the global analytics platform, based on a Lakehouse architecture.

You can look forward to

  • Your focus is on the implementation of the Azure infrastructure (IaC) and the Databricks workspaces
  • You are the first point of contact for the data and analytics platform
  • You work on the development of data workflows (PySpark, SQL) and the corresponding data modelling
  • You further establish Azure Databricks as the leading internal data and analytics platform
  • You coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners in the development and implementation of customisations to the platform
  • You participate in development projects and the global analytics community and conduct workshops and training measures

You come equipped with

  • Several years of professional experience in data engineering with Azure tools and related services (SaaS, PaaS)
  • In-depth BI and data analytics knowledge with hands-on experience in data warehousing, cloud platforms and/or data analytics
  • Good knowledge of Python/PySpark and SQL programming
  • Additional knowledge of IaC (Terraform) and deployment concepts/tools (DevOps/CI/CD) is desirable
  • Completed studies in computer science or business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • German and English at a conversational level
  • Willingness to travel worldwide, approximately once or twice a year
