Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Life and Health - Data Analytics team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 3 years, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Data Scientist Biometric Modelling. 

You can look forward to

  • High level of personal responsibility within an agile and collaborative team
  • International cooperation on exiting and diverse data projects with all reinsurance business units worldwide
  • Data analytics of third-party data and reinsurance portfolio data, with a focus on biometric assumptions for Life and Health reinsurance
  • Methodological development of statistical and stochastical models
  • Support in new business pricing as well as in infrastructure and process automation / optimisation

You come equipped with

  • Passion and enthusiasm for modelling as well as data analytics 
  • Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, biology, physics or comparable field of study
  • Sound knowledge of mathematical modelling, statistics and data science as well as of a higher programming language (e.g. R, Python, Julia)
  • Strong numerical skills and basic knowledge of actuarial mathematics is an advantage
  • An international mindset and ideally experience in international cooperation
  • Proficient user skills in English - another language is an advantage
