Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Analytics and Longevity - Data Analytics team at our headquarters in Hanover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Data Scientist Experience Analyses.
You can look forward to
- Preparation of experience analyses of reinsurance treaties for the global markets - with a focus on the Asian market
- Analysis, assumption derivation and assumption validation of existing inventories
- Assisting with the pricing of new business
- Further refining statistical and stochastic models and methods
- Supporting the optimisation of infrastructure and process automation
- Collaborating with our international branches on diverse and exciting data science projects
You come equipped with
- Passion and enthusiasm for data science, actuarial analysis & international cooperation
- Master's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, statistics, data science or a comparable academic discipline
- In-depth knowledge of statistics and data science
- Basic knowledge of actuarial mathematics
- Knowledge of a higher programming language (e.g. R, Python)
- Independent user skills in German and English, ideally also knowledge of Asian languages (e.g. Chinese)
- Willingness to go on occasional business trips
- International mindset, good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
