Economist Risk Management Risk Reporting
Among other things, the GRM-RAR team is responsible for public affairs, representing the interests of the company, internal and external risk reporting, managing relations with the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority and geopolitical risk monitoring.

You can look forward to
- You coordinate the preparation of reports - mainly the "Own Risk and Solvency Assessment" (ORSA) report and the "Opportunity and Risk Report" (CRB) and ensure their maintenance
- You are in contact with our international locations worldwide as part of internal risk reporting for Group supervision
- You will be responsible for communicating with the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority and providing the necessary supplies
- You monitor geopolitical risks and prepare regular assessments of the impact of such risks on Hannover Re's business activities and social structure, in particular for the Risk Committee
- You occasionally represent our company interests with associations and stakeholders in the public sector
You come equipped with
- At least a Bachelor's degree in politics, economics, business administration, economics, international relations or (business) mathematics
- Initial experience in primary insurance / reinsurance, in supervisory authorities or associations - e.g. through internships or working student activities
- Strong communication skills paired with German and English at a business fluent level
- An international mindset as well as an eye for detail and a meticulous way of working
