As an IT Business Analyst and Product Owner Proxy, you are responsible for the creation, maintenance and prioritisation of the product backlog within a product team in collaboration with the Product Owner (business side) and other Stakeholders.  

You can look forward to

  • You act on the IT side and work closely with the product owner on the business side
  • You are the link between internal customers and software engineers and developers (DevOps)
  • Together with the product team, you develop ideas for new products and product enhancements, such as in-house software programmes that support and improve the workflow of our business activities
  • You moderate and support the use case analyses and requirements engineering
  • You will be involved in the maintenance and operation of the finished product

You come equipped with

  • Completed studies in the field of (business) informatics, mathematics, natural sciences or a comparable qualification
  • Good knowledge of requirements engineering and the appropriate tools
  • Professional experience as a business analyst and/or product owner, ideally in the financial services industry or in insurance or reinsurance
  • Knowledge of agile methods (e.g. Scrum and Kanban) paired with language skills in German and English at a business fluent level
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working collaboratively in an international setting
