You can look forward to
- Order management: You form the central interface to our suppliers and are responsible for the entire process - from recording the request to triggering the order, with a focus on IT product groups such as hardware, software and cloud services
- Contract negotiations: In coordination with Strategic Purchasing, you actively participate in contract and price negotiations to secure competitive terms for Hannover Re
- Supplier management: You select potential new suppliers and continuously expand the collaboration
- Cost optimization: You identify opportunities for cost and process optimization
- Invoice coordination: You check incoming invoices and approve them in accordance with our compliance guidelines
- Complaint management: You identify defects, quality problems or other discrepancies in the delivery, document them and initiate appropriate countermeasures (1st level escalation)
You come equipped with
- Several years of professional experience in the operational purchasing of goods and services, in global procurement management and/or in supplier management
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training, degree in business administration or a comparable qualification
- Sound knowledge of purchasing and service management tools
- Strong analytical skills, the will to drive things forward and enjoy making the best decision for our company
- German at a business fluent level and English at a conversational level combined with negotiation skills
