Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Insurance-Linked Securities team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a IT Expert Process Automation Underwriting

In our Insurance-Linked Securities team, we take on insurance risks and transfer them to institutional investors. You will gradually build up your underwriting expertise, working closely with experienced colleagues. Alongside underwriting, you will focus on further developing and automating our processes.

You can look forward to

  • You will gradually build your underwriting expertise and contribute to developing contract and fund structures 
  • You will analyse reinsurance contracts, track premium payments and monitor claims developments 
  • You will regularly communicate with external business partners 
  • You will review existing underwriting processes and further develop them, with a focus on automation and long-term efficiency 
  • You will identify automation opportunities, define technical requirements and implement suitable solutions in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders 
  • You will work with IT to design scalable applications and continuously improve existing solutions 
  • You will optimise end-to-end processes, from structured data preparation to workflow automation 

You come equipped with

  • A Master’s degree in (Business) Informatics or Business Administration with a focus on IT, technical topics, data or process optimisation 
  • Several years of experience in process automation, digitalisation or technical optimisation – experience in a complex, regulated environment is particularly valuable 
  • A strong interest in analysing processes and implementing technical solutions (e.g. automation, workflow design, interfaces) 
  • The ability to structure business requirements clearly and to actively support collaboration between business teams and IT 
  • Initial experience with underwriting, insurance or financial processes is a plus, but not required 
  • Fluent English skills and at least conversational German, combined with clear and respectful communication 
  • You are open to feedback, contribute your own ideas and enjoy developing your skills in a dynamic environment
