Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the IT Actuarial Functions & Systems team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as an IT Software Engineer Actuarial Models. 

You can look forward to

  • Support in the development and optimisation of actuarial core systems in actuarial applications after an intensive familiarisation with our business intelligence and actuarial architecture and applications
  • Work closely with other developers, data analysts and actuaries to understand data processing requirements and develop efficient solutions
  • Participation in training and development events and conferences
  • Planning and preparation of internal events and workshops

You come equipped with

  • Completed studies in (business) informatics, mathematics, business administration with a mathematical focus or a comparable qualification
  • First professional experience in the form of internships or working student activities in the financial services industry, ideally in the insurance industry
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT routines or data warehousing as well as data modelling is an advantage
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java or SQL as well as ETL tools desirable
  • German and English at a business fluent level
  • Willingness to travel internationally from time to time
