As part of our global infrastructure team, you’ll help shape and operate our NetApp storage systems. You’ll ensure a reliable storage environment and continuously develop our solutions – from on-premises data centres to the cloud (AWS, Azure). You’ll make sure our data is stored securely, efficiently, and remains quickly accessible.

You can look forward to

  • As a system administrator, you’ll manage and improve our NetApp storage systems.
  • You’ll further develop our storage solutions – both on-premises and in the cloud (AWS, Azure).
  • You’ll analyse performance and capacity, and optimise where needed.
  • Using tools like PowerShell, Ruby, Chef or Azure DevOps, you’ll automate workflows.
  • You’ll work closely with the backup team (Commvault) – e.g. on disaster recovery concepts.
  • As part of 2nd-level support, you’ll resolve technical issues in the storage area.

You come equipped with

  • Experience with enterprise storage environments, ideally with NetApp
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g. PowerShell, Ruby, Chef, Azure DevOps) is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for cloud storage and virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Azure or AWS
  • A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, e.g. IT specialist in system integration
  • Excellent German and English skills for daily communication with colleagues on-site and worldwide
  • You enjoy working collaboratively, ensure accoutability, and have a good instinct for efficient processes
