International Participation Manager
Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Coordination International Operations team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as an International Participation Manager.
The department “Coordination International Operations” forms the interface to Hannover Re’s worldwide Group companies and local branches. The areas of responsibility include, among others, providing ongoing support for Group companies and branches, especially in connection with board and committee meetings and capitalisation. This also includes maintaining and providing information about the Group companies to fulfil internal and external reporting requirements.
You can look forward to
- Taking responsibility for the support and further development of our participation management tools, including the collection and maintenance of information from various sources and systems
- Preparing and processing internal and external reporting obligations, with a focus on meeting statutory and regulatory information requirements, as well as providing support to other departments in this area
- Supporting international subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and participations of the Hannover Re Group (partly in tandem work)
- Preparing and following up on board and committee meetings
- Coordinating capital and financing measures
- Cooperating with other departments, including Group Finance, Group Taxation, Group Legal Services, and our market divisions
You come equipped with
- Degree in economics, business administration, business law or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Professional experience, preferably in the areas of equity investments support/equity investments management and transaction support – ideally within the (re)insurance sector
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office
- Experience in managing and working with databases and IT tools
- Basic knowledge of commercial and corporate law as well as (inter)national accounting standards
- Proficient user skills in English and German and the willingness to go on occasional business trips (by agreement)
- An international mindset and, preferably, experience of cooperating with international locations within a group structure
