Internship Computer Science Software Development
If you want to experience how things are done in the GIT-BG Underwriting Solutions L&H team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 6 months commencing immediately as an Intern Computer Science Software Development.
You can look forward to
- Supporting the further development of our ReFlex software suite in the life insurance sector
- Analysing business requirements from users such as data scientists and underwriters and developing practical software solutions
- Exploring opportunities for applying artificial intelligence within our existing software systems and investigating AI-supported software development approaches
- Gaining valuable insights into the work of our experienced software engineers and supporting software development projects throughout the entire development lifecycle
You come equipped with
- Currently studying Computer Science or a comparable degree programme
- Initial experience in software development using Java
- Ideally, knowledge of Spring Boot, as well as TypeScript and Angular or similar technologies
- Proficient user skills in German and English
- Enthusiasm for learning about new technologies and tools, combined with a strong willingness to innovate and learn
- A structured approach to work with the ability to collaborate effectively across different business areas
