You can look forward to

  • Technical leadership of the engineering department as well as training and development of the team
  • Management and coordination of facultative engineering activities, as well as portfolio management and control in the US and London markets
  • Negotiation of facultative reinsurance contracts with brokers and insurance companies
  • Ensuring and promoting regular knowledge exchange within the global engineering community
  • Development of efficient tools and processes

You come equipped with

  • A successfully completed degree in engineering or civil engineering
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in facultative reinsurance with a focus on engineering
  • Initial experience in the technical leadership of teams
  • In-depth knowledge of the London and/or US markets
  • An international mindset paired with business-fluent English skills; additional language skills are an advantage
  • Drive, We-spirit, and change management skills complete your profile
