Our team combines reinsurance with capital markets. Together, we analyse complex risks and provide the quantitative basis for Insurance-Linked Securities transactions such as Catastrophe Bonds, as well as for the risk management activities of the Insurance-Linked Securities department. #LI-DNI
You can look forward to
- Start with a structured onboarding programme and gradually take responsibility for risk analyses and transactions
- Use licensed geophysical models to analyse natural catastrophe risks and produce risk assessments
- Support the analysis of reinsurance portfolios and the evaluation of individual reinsurance contracts
- Contribute to the structuring of Catastrophe Bonds
- Work closely with underwriting and risk experts as well as external partners and present analysis results in a way that suits different audiences
You come equipped with
- A completed Master's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Mathematics, Physics or a comparable scientific discipline with excellent results
- Initial practical experience in a business environment, for example through relevant internships, working student positions or similar quantitative roles, is essential
- Excellent Excel skills
- Fluent German and English language skills
- A structured and solution-oriented approach to analysing complex topics, with the ability to challenge results critically, identify key relationships, adapt quickly to new situations and communicate findings clearly
- Enjoy working as part of a team, actively contribute your ideas and support open and constructive professional discussions
