You can look forward to
- Further development of the actuarial modelling applications used within the Hannover Re Group worldwide
- Maintenance and support of existing actuarial databases, applications and tools in coordination with other team members
- Design and development of the future actuarial systems, taking into account customer and reporting requirements from internal actuarial processes and (inter)national accounting standards for insurance contracts
- Carrying out training for users on the use of the actuarial system landscape
You come equipped with
- Professional experience in the field of software or database development
- Master's degree in mathematics or computer science
- Very good knowledge of a higher programming language (e.g. C#, C++, Java) or SQL language (e.g. T-SQL, PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL)
- Experience with common software design principles, CI/CD
- Conceptual skills and analytical thinking
- English at a business fluent level and German at a conversational level
- Conceptual skills and analytical thinking
- Confident demeanour towards internal and external customers
- Enjoy working in a team
- Willingness to undergo actuarial training (DAV) or already completed or at an advanced stage
