Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Quotation Service – North America team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Mathematician / Physicist Property and Casualty Reinsurance.
You can look forward to
- You prepare quotations (including pricing and contract review) for the North American property and casualty reinsurance business
- You prepare market analyses, forecasts and statistics and make them available to our underwriters
- You are responsible for the conception, implementation and further development of pricing tools
- You promote the (further) development of mathematical pricing models
- You will be responsible for conducting training courses and quotation audits, which may also take place at our international locations
- You have contact with the US and Canada Property and Casualty Underwriting departments as well as other internal departments, such as our IT department
You come equipped with
- Master's degree in (business) mathematics or physics - preferably with a focus on stochastics, statistics or a comparable education with a quantitative orientation
- Initial programming skills in R are an advantage as well as experience with MS Office
- English at a business fluent level and German at a conversational level, further language skills are an advantage
- An international mindset and the willingness to travel occasionally, about once or twice a year
- Networking skills and the ability to work in a team
