You can look forward to

  • Interdisciplinary function between various departments on actuarial matters
  • Maintenance and further development of our quotation tools
  • Development of accounting-related changes to quotation tools and data submissions
  • Collection and provision of model input data to support the preparation of reserving and solvency calculations
  • Technical support for the underwriting team through data-driven submissions and by conducting technical underwriting analyses
  • Identification of improvement potentials and implementation of efficiency enhancements in existing processes

You come equipped with

  • A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Business Mathematics, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in the reinsurance industry
  • Strong background and hands-on experience in actuarial work
  • Proficiency in at least one advanced programming language, e.g., VBA and R
  • Familiarity with balance sheet analysis, as well as an understanding of regulatory, accounting, and tax-related processes
  • Expertise in primary insurance pricing, analytics, capital management, and IFRS 17
  • Proficient in English and German, combined with excellent communication skills
  • Pragmatic, analytical mindset as well as the ability to work independently and flexibly
