Rating Analyst
Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Investor & Rating Agency Relations team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis until January 2028, commencing as soon as possible as a Rating Analyst.
You can look forward to
- Supporting the rating processes of the Hannover Re Group and gaining insights into finance and risk topics
- Assisting with the planning, preparation, and execution of rating meetings with internal departments and external rating agencies
- Contributing to the calculation, analysis, and further development of rating models for the Hannover Re Group and its subsidiaries
- Analyzing capital requirements, sensitivities, and model changes to assess financial strength
- Supporting internal and external reporting
- Working in an experienced team with room to shape your own responsibilities
You come equipped with
- A completed degree in economics or a comparable field of study with a focus on finance/accounting
- Initial experience in (re)insurance, banking, or at a rating agency is an advantage
- Good knowledge of financial statement analysis and accounting (IFRS)
- Analytical thinking skills and strong organizational abilities
- Passion for finance and capital markets
- Business-fluent German and English
- Enjoyment of teamwork and a responsible approach to work
