You can look forward to
- Checking, processing and posting reinsurance statements of account including assuring completion
- Processing incoming and outgoing payments
- Initiating the creation of new bank details
- Claims processing including sanction screening and consultation with claims specialists
- Quarterly closing work
- Correspondence with internal interfaces and external customers
- Participation in working groups and projects
- Maintain quality and consistency of process standards and operational controls
You come equipped with
- Degree in business administration and/or comparable training
- Initial experience in accounting (e.g. from the areas of insurance, banking, taxes)
- Understanding of different accounting principles, e.g. HGB and IFRS
- Basic understanding of obligatory reinsurance contractual forms of advantage
- German and English at a conversational level, knowledge of an Eastern European language is an advantage
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- SAP skills of advantage
- Affinity for IT topics and willingness to familiarize with various IT technologies
- Very good numerical reasoning and capacity for analytical thinking
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent organisational skills
- An assured and service-minded approach to internal and external customers
