You can look forward to
A diverse role with an international focus:
- Further development and regular updates of underwriting guidelines for individual risks in life and disability insurance
- Preparation of evidence-based reviews on mortality and morbidity risks
- Ongoing enhancement of hr | Ascent, the Hannover Re Group’s digital underwriting manual
- Close collaboration with international locations and teams
- Support for internal and external clients
- Design and delivery of training sessions and seminars, including on an international level
You come equipped with
A combination of medical expertise, IT affinity, and analytical strength, backed by strong communication skills:
- Completed university degree in (human) medicine and solid knowledge of evidence-based medicine
- Experience in scientific research
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with statistical software and programming languages
- Professional experience in insurance medicine is an advantage
- At least proficient user skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 3 to 4 times per year)
- Strong IT affinity, excellent communication skills, initiative, and a structured, solution-oriented working style
