Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Reinsurance Valuation & Steering - Life & Health Valuation team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, full-time basis (38 HPW) for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Senior Valuation Actuary Life & Health.
You can look forward to
- Creating actuarial balance sheet and forecast figures for IFRS 17 and HGB, as well as valuation under Solvency II
- Maintaining and applying actuarial models, including the economic valuation of the Life & Health portfolio
- Using internal systems to generate, analyse and validate balance sheet and forecast figures
- Performing reporting tasks for IFRS 17 and HGB
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, such as auditors and colleagues from Hannover Re’s international network, including Underwriting, Accounting, Risk Management and IT
You come equipped with
- Successfully completed degree in (business) mathematics, business administration or a comparable field
- Extensive professional experience, ideally within the (re)insurance industry
- Solid knowledge of actuarial accounting and confident use of Excel
- Experience in IFRS 17 and HGB reporting is an advantage
- Proficient user skills in German and English
- Strong conceptual skills and a passion for working with numbers and in a team
