Designing and enhancing modern applications for Reinsurance Accounting Payables and Receivables, while supporting the technical transformation of our system landscape

Integrating and connecting existing systems as well as developing and optimising interfaces and APIs

Analysing, designing and implementing business requirements related to accounting, payment and finance processes

Ensuring maintainability, quality, security and scalability of the solutions developed

Taking ownership of architectural decisions and technical standards while contributing to strategic digitalisation and automation initiatives

Supporting and coaching colleagues in modern software development practices and providing guidance on technical and business-related topics
You come equipped with
-
A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification

Several years of experience in software development, software design and architecture, ideally within the insurance industry and with exposure to finance, accounting or payment processes

Strong expertise in C# / .NET technologies (e.g. ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Entity Framework, .NET Aspire)

Sound understanding of Clean Code, design patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API design and distributed systems

Practical experience in cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure, together with solid knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps, as well as experience with Git and automated testing

Proficient user skills in German and English, combined with excellent communication and collaboration abilities and the capability to convey technical knowledge effectively to different target audiences

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for driving new technologies and ways of working and continuously improving architecture, processes and standards
