This department develops modern, scalable software solutions for an international insurance environment. Our interdisciplinary team combines technological excellence with strong domain expertise and actively drives digital transformation at Hannover Re.
You can look forward to

Developing modern backend and frontend applications using C#/.NET and Angular - from high-performance APIs to intuitive user interfaces

Designing, integrating and operating REST APIs, databases (SQL, Entity Framework Core) and stable system landscapes

Ensuring software quality through automated testing (unit and integration tests)

Operating and enhancing applications on Windows Server (IIS), including logging, monitoring and performance optimisation

Building and optimising CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)

Contributing to software architecture and engineering culture (quality, security, best practices) in close collaboration with the team and business stakeholders
You come equipped with

Degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification with relevant practical experience

Several years of experience in software development with C#/.NET and Angular

Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, Entity Framework Core) and REST API design, including authentication

Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and familiarity with clean code, testing, logging and monitoring

Business fluent in German and English

Interest in domain topics within the insurance or financial sector (e.g. Solvency II, IFRS 17)

Strong ability to structure complex requirements, adapt to change and collaborate effectively in a team environment
