You can look forward to
Together with your team, you ensure the smooth flow of day-to-day business through correct checking and approval - as well as, where appropriate, referral - of the posting of statements of account and reserves including confirmations.
- Specialist and disciplinary leadership of the members of staff in the section
- Ensuring a timely and high-quality period-end closing
- Expert analyses and annotations of the technical account
- Leading section meetings as well as meetings to coordinate and exchange views with the market departments
You come equipped with
- Comprehensive reinsurance know-how regarding contractual and technical matters
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards (HGB, IFRS)
- Successfully completed degree in business / insurance studies or a comparable qualification
- Well-versed in the use of re7 and Microsoft Office
- Initial experience in personnel leadership is an asset
- Analytical grasp of numbers and statistics
- Interest in analysing and further refining internal processes
- Proficient user skills in German and English
- Commitment and methodological problem-solving skills
- A structured, precise and self-reliant style of working
