You work on fascinating projects and gain experience – through in-depth insights and involvement in our wide-ranging day-to-day business.

You can look forward to

  • Get to know the many facets of life and health reinsurance incl. processes, our worldwide network and reinsurance concepts and solutions
  • Active participation in various specialist units, including both direct customer contact and supporting service teams, covering among other things data analyses, pricing and quotations
  • Several months spent abroad at one of our international locations
  • Attending special trainee events and building a Group-wide network
  • ... and lots more exciting projects and tasks

You come equipped with

  • Master's degree in mathematics or physics
  • Ideally, initial relevant experience gained through internships or student work experience
  • Initial international experience, e.g. through a semester spent abroad, language study trips, Work & Travel programmes is desirable
  • Knowledge of a programming language, such as "R", is an asset 
  • Proficient user skills in English, independent user skills in German or the willingness to learn this language 
  • Capacity for analytical thinking, strong communication skills, customer-centred approach and openness to working in an international environment.
  • Creative and flexible and a broad interest in economic correlations
