You can look forward to
- Evaluating and developing reinsurance solutions for the worldwide cyber insurance space as well as assessing cyber risks in light of strategic considerations
- Analysing reinsurance prices and margins, including evaluating offers and negotiating acceptable terms and conditions
- Cultivating, expanding and building viable customer and broker relationships
- Maintaining the internal systems for treaty administration, including reinsurance wordings
- Monitoring and analysing of emerging trends in cyber insurance to ensure Hannover Re's future readiness
You come equipped with
- A master's degree in finance, economics (with a quantitative focus), mathematics, or natural sciences, or a comparable qualification (e.g. as an insurance specialist)
- Initial experience in underwriting with a (re)insurer paired with an understanding of treaty reinsurance, is an advantage
- At least proficient user skills in English; knowledge of additional languages (especially German and/or Spanish) is an asset
- Willingness to travel worldwide for business, roughly three to four times a year
- An entrepreneurial, international and strategic mindset, combined with negotiation skills and excellent communication abilities
- Enthusiasm for topics related to Information Security Technology and strengthening our market position among leading reinsurers
- A solution-oriented working style, along with a high level of independence, flexibility, and commitment
