You can look forward to
- Evaluating and developing reinsurance solutions for digital insurers
- Assessing risks in light of strategic considerations
- Calculating reinsurance prices and margins, including evaluating offers and negotiating acceptable terms and conditions
- Cultivating, expanding and building viable customer relationships
- Creating, checking and modifying reinsurance contract documents and handling their administration
- Tracking and developing an understanding of emerging digital insurance trends to ensure Hannover Re's future readiness
You come equipped with
- Completed studies in mathematics
- Initial hands-on experience in the financial or insurance sector (e.g. in the form of employment as a working student) is an asset
- Interest in technology and economic issues
- Proficient user skills in English, knowledge of additional languages (especially German) is an asset
- Willingness to travel worldwide on business, roughly three or four times a year
- International mindset, negotiating skills, very good head for numbers and enthusiasm for cementing our market position among the top reinsurers
- Considerable capacity for strategic thinking, solution-driven working approach and a high degree of self-reliance, flexibility and dedication
