Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Reinsurance Division 80 - Germany team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Underwriter Facultative Reinsurance Property and Casualty. 

As part of our team of experts, you will be responsible for the underwriting of individual risks in facultative reinsurance for the German-speaking market. You will review and negotiate facultative reinsurance offers for individual risks as well as reinsurance agreements for which facultative underwriting expertise is required.

You can look forward to

  • Review and underwriting of facultative property risks including treaty negotiations
  • Analysing the insurance and reinsurance markets
  • Expanding contacts with existing clients and maintaining the portfolio
  • Co-creation of innovative reinsurance concepts
  • Participation in specialist events and congresses to keep up to date with industry developments
  • Customer communication and support as well as contract Management

You come equipped with

  • Several years of professional experience in facultative reinsurance or primary insurance of industrial property insurance risks
  • A successfully completed degree in economics, insurance business training or a comparable qualification
  • German and English at a business fluent level combined with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly, mainly within Germany
  • A confident demeanour towards customers, negotiating skills, networking skills and pleasure in securing our market position among the top reinsurers
