You can look forward to
- Analysing reinsurance requests from our clients, including sound risk assessment
- Preparation and execution of quotations as well as making responsible underwriting decisions
- Active maintenance and strategic development of long-term client relationships, as well as market monitoring within the assigned region
- Contribution to the creation and evaluation of portfolio and product analyses, including the use of statistical methods for data analysis
- Development of calculation tools and models to automate and improve efficiency in underwriting
- Execution of exploratory data analyses, as well as interpretation and preparation of reinsurance results to enhance performance
You come equipped with
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Data Science, (Business) Mathematics, or a comparable program with a quantitative focus
- Proficient in at least one high-level programming language (e.g. R or Python), statistical methods, and modern IT tools for data analysis
- Initial practical experience in the insurance sector, ideally in corporate client services, actuarial work, or the financial sector in Latin America
- Regional ties to Latin America and knowledge of local accounting regulations; ideally also experience with IFRS
- Proficient user skills in English and native speaker skills Spanish or Portuguese; knowledge of German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel (approximately three to four times per year), along with a structured, solution-oriented, and team-driven working style with strong commitment
