Underwriter London Market
Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Treaty Division 2 team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, full-time basis for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Underwriter London Market.
You can look forward to
- Modelling and Pricing: You develop tailored reinsurance contracts and coverages for our primary insurance clients and brokers in the London market.
- Contract Management: You manage the portfolio of contracts and monitor its systematic development in collaboration with the department management.
- Client Relations: You establish and maintain international client relationships.
- Portfolio Management: You take on portfolio management responsibilities, develop IT-supported tools, and carry out administrative system entries.
- Project Management: You contribute to internal projects and help optimize our business processes.
You come equipped with
- A completed degree in business studies (e.g. economics, business administration, banking or finance) or a comparable qualification
- Initial experience in reinsurance is an advantage
- IT skills: MS Office (especially Excel), SAP, and GEM/Re7
- Fluency in German and English, at least at a business proficiency level
- Willingness to travel occasionally to London
- An international mindset, strong negotiation and networking skills, and enthusiasm for helping to secure our position among the top reinsurers
