Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the TD16 North American Specialty Business team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Underwriter North America.
You can look forward to
- Supporting North American agency business, with correspondence handled mostly in English
- Underwriting casualty and property risks and carrying out rate and accumulation analyses
- Control activities for agency business in coordination with our local colleagues and partners in the United States (e.g. HRS US, GIC, MGAs and fronting carriers)
- Business trips to the USA (generally several times a year) for conferences and to visit clients and brokers
You come equipped with
- A successfully completed degree in economics or law; commercial insurance training with a focus on liability insurance or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience with a (re)insurer
- Experience in controlling and monitoring agency business is an asset, as well as initial experience with start-up companies
- An international mindset paired with proficient user skills in English and independent user skills in German
- Confident manner towards customers and ability to work in a team
