You can look forward to

Processing of reinsurance contracts from the USA - with a focus on excess casualty and surplus lines business as well as occasional coverage of financial lines business (D&O, E&O)
Analysis of reinsurance offers, assessment of the risks involved and determination of appropriate premiums
Support, maintenance and expansion of the customer and contract portfolio
Maintenance of internal systems for contract administration and communication, mainly in English
Marketing activities with local clients and reinsurance brokers

You come equipped with

(Initial) professional experience in underwriting in primary insurance or reinsurance is desirable
Business studies and/or (insurance) commercial training
An international mindset and a stay of several weeks abroad in an English-speaking country is an advantage
Excellent communication skills paired with English at a business fluent level and German at a conversational level
A confident manner towards customers and a willingness to travel - mainly to the USA, about two to three times a year
