You can look forward to
- You are responsible for the acquisition, evaluation and negotiation of facultative reinsurance offers from the US and London markets.
- You analyze engineering offers.
- You contribute to the further development of our engineering portfolio by regularly monitoring the market and analyzing the competition.
- You build sustainable relationships with our international business partners and meet them regularly on site.
- In particular, you support colleagues with less professional experience in their professional development.
- You work in interdisciplinary teams with the aim of continuously improving our underwriting processes and tools.
You come equipped with
- A successfully completed degree (e.g. mechanical engineering, engineering sciences, civil engineering, technical business administration or business administration)
- Several years of relevant professional experience in underwriting with a focus on engineering at a primary insurance and/or reinsurance company or in technical insurance
- In-depth technical understanding and expertise in coverage concepts
- Knowledge of the London and/or US market is desirable
- German and English at a business fluent level combined with negotiation skills, further language skills would be an advantage
- An international mindset and networking skills as well as a willingness to travel regularly
