Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the GTO-CPS Procurement & Supplier Management team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, part-time basis (15 - 19 HPW) for 12 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Working Student Procurement Economics.

Our team supports the global procurement of services, IT solutions and a wide range of other products for Hannover Re. We are currently driving the implementation of our new procurement platform, Ivalua, while advancing the digitalisation of our procurement processes. If you would like to gain practical experience in an international procurement environment, we look forward to receiving your application.

You can look forward to

  • Maintaining and updating data within our procurement platform Ivalua
  • Supporting the migration and quality assurance of data from existing systems
  • Managing master data and assisting with data cleansing activities
  • Supporting the creation and tracking of purchase orders
  • Preparing analyses, documentation and internal research
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement and digitalisation of procurement processes

You come equipped with

  • Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Systems or a comparable field of study
  • Initial practical experience gained through internships or working student roles in related areas would be advantageous
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ideally other Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient user skills in German and English
  • A keen interest in working with data and digital systems, as well as procurement and sourcing processes
  • A collaborative mindset, a willingness to learn and develop continuously and a careful, structured and reliable way of working
