Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Investor and Rating Agency Relations team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a temporary, part-time basis (roughly 19 HPW) for 24 months, commencing as soon as possible as a Working Student Rating Analysis.

With us, you’ll dive into the exciting world of capital markets and work on topics that are crucial for the strategic direction of an international company. Our team maintains close dialogue with investors and rating agencies and provides essential financial information. In addition, we coordinate the Hannover Re Group’s rating process and ensure optimal ratings aligned with our corporate strategy. The team is also responsible for preparing and meeting complex requirements for quarterly and annual reports. Want to help position Hannover Re in the best possible way on the market? You can look forward to

  • Working alongside experienced colleagues and contributing your knowledge to exciting tasks such as risk reporting
  • Collecting data for capital model analyses and rating requirements as well as interpreting the results in context
  • Supporting impact assessments, taking on calculations and communicating with relevant stakeholders
  • Gaining insights by analysing reports and comparing, for example, quarterly results
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations, including those for exchanges with rating agencies
  • Planning and organising meetings with management - including scheduling, booking rooms and agenda preparation

You come equipped with

  • Ongoing Master’s degree with a quantitative focus such as Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration or a comparable field
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Proficient user skills in German and English combined with excellent communication abilities
  • Strong numerical understanding and enjoyment of analytical tasks
  • A sense of responsibility as well as a results-oriented and independent working style
