You can look forward to

  • Lead the team (7 people) to achieve high engagement and performance at all levels, while creating and maintaining an environment of respect and trust.
  • Develop and implement a L&H strategy for India, in alignment with the group strategy and the global L&H strategy.
  • Ensure the development, pricing, onboarding and management of L&H business with a focus on sustainable profits.
  • Ensure strong client relationships and a clear value proposition.
  • Ensure excellent collaboration with all stakeholders including group functions, other teams in the India or other Hannover Re offices, local regulatory bodies and external auditors.

You come equipped with

  • At least 10 years Life & Health experience in senior industry roles including significant experience in reinsurance business development, pricing and in-force management.
  • Excellent leadership skills proven in senior managerial roles as well as a proven track record of developing and motivating high performing teams.
  • Strong ability to define a strategy and vision, and to empower and guide others to achieve common goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate complex relationships.
  • Excellent understanding of Indian culture and ability to communicate easily with all stakeholders.
