Manager - General Finance

You can look forward to

 Managing the day to day financial activities within Branch.
 Preparation of IRDAI Financial Statements for Life and Non-Life business
 Solvency calculation for IRDAI purposes
 Dealing with IRDAI on regulatory matters and audit / inspection
 Preparation of Public disclosure as per IRDAI requirements
 Taxation - Review of quarterly tax calculation
 Liaising with tax consultants
 Network with Group tax team
 GST review and calculations
 TDS reconciliation
 SAP experience for the following modules:
 SAP General Ledger (SAP-GL)
 SAP Reinsurance Ledger (FS-RI)
 SAP PAPM
 SAP Concur
 SAP AP Module
 SAP entries for general finance including:
 Fixed asset register maintenance
 Vendor related bookings
 Adjustment entries
 Reviewing of SAP entries for booking
 Must be open to learning Solvency II and IFRS17
 Should have good understanding of insurance market
 Good analytical skills
 Should have good knowledge of tax and accounting

You come equipped with

 At least 8 to 10 years of experience in accounting and tax.
 Registered Chartered Accountant
 Tax experience for Insurance Company
 Advance Microsoft Office
 Basic IT skills
 BI tools knowledge including Power BI
 Should be able to manage the team and should be a good team player
 Requires travel across India and abroad in developing relationships for Hannover Re – India Branch and Group office
