We are hiring for Senior Actuarial Associate role!

You can look forward to

• Capable of independently applying actuarial techniques to support business activities including pricing, underwriting, accounting, financial reporting, data analytics and valuation
• Pricing standard quotes with minimal supervision and delivering within agreed timelines.
• Completing necessary data analytics for setting reasonable best estimate assumptions for pricing.
• Setting pricing basis for all agreed lines of business by collecting and analysing available information and other market statistics.
• Periodic updating of any pricing & addendum templates.
• Performing experience analysis as a part of In-Force management activity.
• Drafting proposal and treaty documentation.
• Capable of establishing & developing symmetric partnerships with potential new clients, design innovative distribution and product solutions.
• Creating robust and profitable (as per Group standards) client portfolio.
• Providing input for strategy planning of India Branch.
• Collaborate with all L&H stakeholders, including Medical Underwriting, Claims, Technical Accounts and Valuation and other Hannover Re offices.

You come equipped with

• Nearly Qualified actuary/Qualified Actuary with minimum 15 years of work experience in life insurance or reinsurance industry particularly in areas of pricing.
• Must have the capability to initiate, organize and manage projects independently.
• Self-motivated with high level of personal and professional integrity & ownership, negotiation and quick decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical skills and adept in interpreting strategic vision into an operational and tactical model.
• Team Player and Effective communicator with strong oral, written and persuasive skills and capability to deal with people at all levels in the organization.
• Must be willing to travel across India and outside India as and when required.
• Must be willing to take part in local and global actuarial and non-actuarial but business-related seminars and conferences.
• Regular interaction with key actuarial personnel of current or prospective clients is desirable.
• Has the ability to develop her/his own competencies and to support others in their development.
