You can look forward to
- Leadership & Culture: Lead and develop the L&H Korea team to achieve high engagement and performance, fostering a culture of trust, accountability and collaboration.
- Strategy & Alignment: Develop, implement and execute the L&H Korea strategy in close alignment with Group strategy and the global L&H strategic direction, ensuring local relevance while maintaining global consistency.
- Business Development & Portfolio Management: Drive the development, pricing, onboarding and management of L&H business with a strong focus on sustainable, risk-adequate profitability.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other key stakeholders, ensuring a clear and competitive value proposition.
- Governance & Collaboration: Ensure effective collaboration across Group functions, Hannover Re offices, and external stakeholders incl. regulators and auditors.
- Branch Leadership & Representation: Drive overall branch performance and strategic positioning in the Korean market
You come equipped with
- At least 10 years of Life & Health experience in senior industry roles, including substantial experience in reinsurance business development, pricing and in-force management.
- Demonstrated industry experience in both the Korean market and international environments, with a proven ability to operate effectively within multinational organizations.
- A broad, globally oriented perspective, leveraging experience across different markets to balance local business needs with global strategic objectives, and to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong ability to define a strategy and vision to achieve common goals.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on empowerment, accountability, talent development and collaboration, complemented by a proven ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- A deep understanding of the Korean market, regulatory environment and business culture, combined with the ability to operate effectively within a global corporate framework.
- Native Korean language skills and excellent English language proficiency.
