Responsibilities:

As a member of the Facultative team, your role is a mix of underwriting and client interaction. Main tasks and activities including:

  • Supporting the underwriting strategy of the Liability insurance business locally and internationally
  • Manage the existing risk portfolio and develop new business by analysing and negotiations for new risks proposed by the market, contributing to the achievement of P&C team’s growth objectives
  • Building and maintaining Strong relationships with clients and brokers, creating innovative solutions for our clients
  • Cooperation across different lines of business and cross-functional teams
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed University study with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Insurance or comparable academic background
  • At least 3-5 years of Casualty Underwriting experiences in China Market
  • Solution-based work approach and a collaborative and team-minded work attitude
  • Fluent in Chinese both oral and written
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Strong computer skills and ideally familiar with use of quotation tools
  • Willingness to travel

Working location:

Pudong / LinGang, Shanghai, depnding on the Company's needs
