Responsibilities

  • Monitor regulatory trends, laws, and policies in the insurance/reinsurance industry and assess their impact on the company’s operations.
  • Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks, and implement effective mitigation measures.
  • Provide compliance advice and review for new business initiatives, products, and projects.
  • Oversee compliance of the company’s daily operations and compliance risk controls.
  • Develop, update, and implement compliance policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Track and monitor regulatory changes to ensure timely implementation and adherence.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely internal and external compliance reports.
  • Organize compliance training and awareness programs to enhance employees’ compliance awareness and sense of responsibility.
  • Manage AML/CTF compliance, including due diligence, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Support personal data protection and information security compliance.
  • Coordinate with regulators, including inspections, reporting, and remediation.
  • Develop the annual compliance plan and report key compliance risks to management.
  • Provide compliance support for administrative approval processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Law; legal qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, risk management, or internal control within the insurance or financial industry.
  • Strong understanding of local insurance regulatory frameworks and industry operations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High ethical standards, independence, and strong risk awareness.
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese.
