Executive Assistant

This role involves Executive Assistant duties to support the Director, Business Centre Head Life & Health Greater China and the Management team with daily organisational tasks, while also assisting in preparing presentations, performing simple analysis, and drafting articles based on the team's guidance and ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Calendar management & organisational tasks: diary management, meeting invites with internal/external stakeholders, travel arrangements etc.
- Data Analysis: Assist the team in analyzing data to provide insights and support business decisions.
- Presentation Support: Work closely with the team to prepare professional and compelling presentations, summarizing analysis results, trends, and insights. Create clear, visually appealing presentation materials.
- Writing: Draft and edit articles, reports, and other written materials based on direction from the team, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives. Understand group policies and work closely with the Management team.
You come equipped with
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A relevant certification or advanced degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role, preferably within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
- Time management and organisational skills are crucial.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Proficiency in Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel and internal tools)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills specifically in English, Mandarin/Putonghua and Cantonese as this role would require communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to draft concise, clear, and compelling reports and presentations.
- Previous experience in a strategic support role, assisting senior leadership with analysis and reporting is preferred.
- Knowledge of life and health reinsurance processes and terminology and/or experience with reinsurance markets, policies, or underwriting processes is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with actuarial concepts or insurance risk modeling.
